Our wines
Valuing the wine heritage and producing wines that follow the traditions linked to the territory while respecting the environment is our philosophy.
The company, located in north Campania in the upper Caserta (Municipality of Formicola) produces about 20,000 bottles resulting from the processing of 4 indigenous vines: Pallagrello Bianco, Pallagrello Nero, Casavecchia and Coda di Pecora. The characteristics of the volcanic soil where we cultivate our vineyards at about 330 meters above sea level and the excellent exposure with a strong temperature range to the slopes of Monte Maggiore, give our wines flavor, minerality and persistence common to those of the great Italian volcanic wines.
Il Verro has rediscovered and enhanced the ancient Coda di Pecora grape variety, cultivated in the past in the area of choice between Monte Maggiore and Roccamonfina, of which we are the only producers who market pure wines from this very rare grape variety.
Our company has also obtained the certificates of organic agricultural cultivation and production of organic wines, to protect and guarantee for the consumer the high quality and authenticity of our wines. One of the reasons for pride in our business is our passion for wine combined with a passion for nature and for the enhancement of the territory, which has prompted us to dedicate all our efforts in the wonderful adventure of viticulture.
