On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June, for the first time, the “Il Verro” winery in Formicola (Acquavalle – Lautoni) will open the gate of the estate, giving fans the opportunity to visit the vineyards in organic conversion, admire the vineyard of the rare and rediscovered sheep’s tail vine, taste the wine among the barrels, enjoy the panorama of the terrace and appreciate installations of works of art. The wines will be paired with gastronomic excellence cooked by chef Lucio Romano of the “Carpe Diem” and tasted the new vintages of the white wines and the red wine Montemaggiore 2011, the result of the selection of the catapecchia vineyard. The oenologist Vincenzo Mercurio will guide the tasting route. Opening hours: Friday from 10.30 to 13; Saturday from 10.30 to 19.
